Cozy Autumn Bullet Journal Theme
I had difficulty in choosing my cover page for this month. There are so many “cozy-themed” designs and it was so difficult for me to choose one. My indecisiveness took a toll on me. (HAHA) In the end, I finally made up my mind and created this mug-bouquet cover page. This might look a little over the top but trust me, this is extremely easy to do.
I used my favorite Tombow Dual Brush Pens for the background and a simple watercolor wash for the leaf designs. If you zoom in a little closer, you can see that the colors blend together in a very effortless way. That’s what I love about watercolors. The colors just naturally blend into perfection. It does the job on its own!
My theme colors for this month are Red, Yellow, Orange, and Peach. Sometimes I use a shade lighter or darker depending on the look that I’m going for. But for the most part, I always use the same colors.
To keep that Cozy Autumn Vibes, I added the leaf designs at the bottom of my Monthly Spreads. The leaves add more life to the page and it just completes the look.
This month, I created 3 different Weekly Spread Layouts. I tried my best to incorporate my fall theme and at the same time create a unique look in each spread. Overall, I am really happy with how it all turned out. Which one is your favorite?
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I love creating Journal Quotes. For this quote, I used the same background as my cover page and added more doodles at the bottom.
Here is a step-by-step video of my process.
I’m a HUGE fan of fall candles. Well, candles in general. (HAHA) It just brings coziness to a whole new level. You should give it a try and trust me you’ll love it!
And of course, this season is not complete without Thanksgiving. For this spread, I used the same design as my monthly spread and added more flair by creating a bounce lettering.
Since I doodled a lot this month, I thought it would be nice to show you how to draw these fall leaves. These are simple and easy doodle designs that are perfect for beginners.
Like I said earlier, I love Fall Candles. To the point that I created a spread dedicated to them. (HAHA) Here are my favorite scents from Bath and Body Works.
