Black and White Themes
Minimalist Spreads are famous for using black and white colors. But it doesn’t mean that your designs should also be plain and boring. You can still add more to your spreads and it doesn’t have to be complicated. A simple lettering is enough to make it extra. Take a look at these gorgeous spreads.
Another way of giving a fresh look to your design is by adding some doodles. Use different shapes and be inspired by other themes. Add your own spin to it!
To add more to this look, you can also insert a calendar. It doesn’t have to be artsy, stick to your chosen theme and keep it simple.
If you want to take a step further, you can emphasize your cover by creating a 2-page spread. Make the most of your cover page or separate your calendar on the side.
Add Some Colors
Creating minimalist spreads doesn’t mean that your options are limited to black and white. Actually that’s the common misconception about minimalist designs. You surely can add more to your cover page! A pop of color never hurts. (*haha*)
You can also use geometric shapes to create a pattern. Play around with different color combinations for a different look.
Stickers are the best way to add different textures to your designs. By using stickers, you will be able to make a cover page like this in no time!
These stickers are from my NEW ETSY SHOP! *Yay* These are all printable it means you can instantly enjoy these goodies at the comforts of your own home!
Make it Green
March also marks the start of spring and of course the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. It is no wonder why you can see a little more Green-Themed designs this month than the rest of the year! (*haha*)
So, if you are looking for a minimalist green-theme, here are a few of the best.
If you want to kick it up a notch, you can create a more complicated design. Just don’t forget to use the same colors throughout the month to keep the same vibe. Be creative with it!
