September Bullet Journal Set-up
When I was brainstorming for my theme, I wanted to create something different from the usual fall designs. I decided to give my own twist and create something inspired by fall scarves and leaves.
For this look, I used a gradient of colors using my Crayola Super Tips Markers. To add more intricacy to my design, I combined different patterns to achieve a fall scarf look. I love how it all turned out!
Tip: Use white gel pens to add dimension and highlight.

Similar to the cover, I used the color gradient for the border and added a leaf pattern on top. Instead of using black for the outline, I used a darker brown color for a more subtle and softer look. It actually looked better than I expected!
This look is an upgraded version of my monthly spread. I decided to spice things up and added patterns. Overall, my goal was to resemble a classic scarf look and I think this made justice to what I expected. I’ll recommend this technique as a fast and easy way to create a twist from classic designs.
These are my favorite spreads to create. I love creating these because there are endless designs and layouts to choose from!
For my first spread, I created something similar to my Pineapple Theme weekly. I highlighted the days of the week and created some leaf doodles. For the colors, I was alternating orange and yellow for a more playful look.
I really like how simple and easy this is. If you want to recreate this spread, I have a video tutorial on Instagram to guide you step-by-step.
This second design is much simpler than the first. To create a more structured look, I used rectangles to divide the days of the week and added some pop of color to make it more lively. You can recreate this look with my step-by-step tutorial on Instagram. I’m sure you’ll love it too!
Last but not least, here is my final weekly spread for this theme. This page is inspired by one of the weeklies from my Pastel Theme. Similar to the other spreads, I used the same markers to create this look. I alternate the orange and yellow colors to create a beautiful pattern. To add more structure, I used a dark brown color for the outline.
Other Spread Ideas
When I was thinking about this month’s mood tracker I immediately knew I had to create something Starbucks inspired. So, I came up with the idea of using pumpkin spice drinks as my mood tracker. Looking at this makes me crave for coffee. HAHA
I love adding quotes that relate to my monthly theme. This is my way of practicing my calligraphy skills and getting creative with different designs.
This second quote is inspired by my cover page. I want to keep the same aesthetic throughout my spreads and make different variations of it. You can check out how I created this look on my Instagram.
Doodles and More
Every month, I try to add different spreads that match my theme.
Since I received several requests for this, I created this doodle guide to show how I draw my version of fall scarves.
There are several fall quotes that I want to add to this theme. However, it’s a hassle to create a separate spread for each one. To solve this, I compiled my favorite fall quotes on one page.
I created this fall playlist to remember the songs that I have been loving this month. This look is inspired by the classic coffee shop menu. I love the vibe of blackboard designs and somehow I think it matches my theme.
I love trying new things and discovering new products. Every time I receive a coupon from Bath and Body Works, I always get one or two of their seasonal products. They are so good!
At last! Here is the flip through of my September Bullet Journal theme.
